us Career Institute started way back in 1993 as Airways Tourism and Hotel Institute. It has been a leading institute that produces competent people who are ready to work with airlines, travel bureaus or tour operators. The institute is the only IATA (International Air Transport Association) affiliated institute in Uganda which has since then expanded to include air cargo handling, as well as hotel courses. In addition to the above we also offer specialised courses in :- Customer Care/Service, Computer courses, Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, Accounting, Purchases & Supplies, Marketing, etc. We also offers short tailor made courses in special areas like: Advising the business community on sources of finance available, How to minimise tax liability without breaking the law, How to be a very good cook, Cashflow planning and simple record keeping- for your business, Refresher courses in auditing skills, Fares and ticketing. Our staff We have a very competent and committed team of lecturers who are qualified and members of their respective professional bodies like ACCA, CPA(U) among others. Your future is in safe hands with us. Past performance Our performance has over the years been excellent. In 1996 for example we were among the top three in the world (IATA courses) and the first in Africa. This perhaps explains why the institute has passed the test of time as an internationally accredited Institute. |
